At Midreshet Lindenbaum, tiyulim are an essential part of the year. Learning doesn’t take place only in the beit midrash — it comes alive through exploring the land, walking in the footsteps of Tanach and Jewish history, and experiencing the diverse landscapes and communities of Israel.

Throughout the year, students travel to sites across the country, from the Galil and Golan in the north to the Negev and the southern desert. Each tiyul is designed to deepen our connection to Eretz Yisrael and to enrich the ideas and values explored in the classroom.

Along the way, students hike through breathtaking landscapes, visit historical and archaeological sites, meet inspiring people, and gain a deeper appreciation for the many layers of Israeli society. Tiyulim also provide opportunities for students and faculty to learn and grow together outside the classroom, creating shared experiences and lasting memories.

Whether standing on a mountain overlooking the land, walking through an ancient city, or exploring a contemporary Israeli community, tiyulim help students see Israel not simply as a place to study, but as a central part of Jewish life, history, and identity.
