Shabbatot and Chagim

Throughout the year, our Shabbatot and Chagim bring the Midreshet Lindenbaum community together for meaningful tefillot, inspiring learning, singing, and quality time with friends and faculty. Every 2-3 weeks, we spend Shabbat together, either on campus or visiting a community together, such as Efrat, Tzfat or Mitzpeh Ramon.

Whenever there is a Shabbat or Chag where students may go to hosts, they may always stay home at Midreshet Lindenbaum, and we also help our students find hosts if they would like to see a new place. Faculty are always inviting students as well!

Our policy has always been that the dormitory is your home for the year – we never close the dorm or ask students to leave, we have around-the-year security, and our Av and Eim bayit and madrichot live on the premises and create a warm sense of home. We are blessed with a beautiful Beit Midrash, a Shabbat minyan that meets on the premises, newly renovated dorm rooms with fully equipped kitchenettes, an exercise room, and a kitchen that provides three meals a day while class is in session, including Shabbatot and chagim that we are in the midrasha.
