We’ve had an incredible start to our trip so far! We started off Sunday afternoon visiting the Jordan River. It was so cool to be able to learn stories from Tanach about the ירדן while actually sitting where they happened! Sunday night Jamie led us on a night tiyul where we got to discuss concepts of Jewish identity more in depth. On Monday we started the morning with a hike up Masada! It was exhausting but so worth it when we reached the top and got to learn about the history there!! In the afternoon we visited the city of Yavne where we continued learning about our topic of Jewish survival and got to enjoy some Ben and Jerry’s ice cream!! We closed the night with a beautiful night by the beach in Bat Yam! Can’t wait for the rest of the trip!
